It does seem that way but there are some dangerous teams in the league that could make a charge to the top. The key i think will be over the xmas period and just after. We were sitting nicely before the xmas period last season and blew it with a disastrous run of defeats.
Local derby wins and gritty performances are what are needed at that time of year.
I'm not sure Chipstead will keep all their big players. Paying some big bucks there so i hear. Will they be up for the tough away games at wembley, merstham, and egham when its chucking it down and freezing cold????
Time will tell!!

JJ you cocky barsteward, well i can't say much to you cus the result says it all on the day you had a bit more bite about you and that told in the end, i wont tell my right back chin up cus u he knows you screamed like a b!tch and went down like a sack of spuds (the walkers van pulled up to cart u off) for him to get his second yellow but fair play to ya u used whatever brain u possess to gain a numerical advantage, was you @ brook house a couple of seasons ago?????

I wasn't at brook house. Been with Ash 7 years now. Seen the good and the not so good times at Ash United.

I was last down at Meadowbank Sunday lunchtime. (YES ! The bar WAS open)

It was looking decidedly damp after that torrential down-por half way through Sunday morning.

By the way, Teffers believes the bench at Meadowbank is on the main stand side, fairly near to the club-house ! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" />

think your pitch will be very much like most others in the league. Apart from the cow field over at Cove fc that is. Our reserves played there recently!!! It's a shocking surface at the best of times.

It'll be nice to play somewhere different and against different opposition. Thank god we've seen the back of xxxx holes like farnham and Frimley green.

Sharing the ground at Dorking must take it's toll on the pitch????

I remember when Feltham shared eghams pitch.... totally ruined it!!!

Comfortable win in the end, not that Guildford caused you too many problems, get a couple against them and the stop working and that seems their only offer.
