Even City supporters will admit its not ideal--miles from action and with the most bizzare behind goal terracing youve ever seen H & S regs wont let it be covered because a strong wind and the bloody things gone so pray for no rain.Playing surface very good and other facilities are really 1st class. But New Writtle St??it aint.

As for the team it depends if they are up for it they can be very good(far too good for Rymans) or awful(with no middle ground) so you could be in for a nasty shock.

Lets put this into perspective, We are 4th in the Conference and Chelmsford are 9th in the Rymans...so thats equivalent to Arsenal (4th in Premiership) playing at Tranmere (9th in league 1). Arsenal went out to Swindon a few years back but don't expect it to happen too regularly.

On the other hand We have made a habit of going out to sides from lower leagues in recent seasons albeit not with the current team and not when we have been in such good form.

If both teams have a good day we will win comfortably.

If both teams have a bad day we will win.

If we have a good day and Chelmsford have a bad day we will win very comfortably.

If Chelmsford have a good day and we have a very bad day we might just lose.

I reckon 2:0 to the Fleet.

It's probably not wise to take everything so seriously, JgFC. You could be in for a very long night replying to everything on here if that was the case.

Or Chelmsford with Tranmere come to that. I was just comparing relative league positions, obviously we are nothing like Arsenal...we have only got one crazy frog.
Come to think of it though Tranmere and Chelmsford have both got the hubcap thing so maybe it wasn't such a bad similie. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Mr Pylon Climber King is not exactly svelt, agreed.

However, am I doing a classic "whoosh" in taking exception to your reference to their living in the *rse end of Kent? Even the most bottom like corner of our county has to be better than that flat expanse north of the river, where elephants go to die, which I always thought was called Essex.

You know most sporting star's are or have been academically challenged!? Therefore unless you are an up and coming sporting great, I'd start to panic!

A.You dont know who I am I could well be a sporting hero who prefers to be anon.

B.Lennox Lewis was born in West Ham--who,as it happens are affiliated to the ESSEX F.A.

c.academically challenged? Messrs Ramsey,Hoddle,Moore and Hurst, for example, were all,I think you would have to agree, quite articulate.Even if you may, with reason, have not liked them.

We look forward to receiving the 'Arsenal of non-league football'and I hope your mini bus has enough room for a comfortable trip.

Hey, hey. Was only joking as im sure you were!!

We will bring in the region of 3-400 which for a home average of 1200 is quite good indeed!! 25-30% depending on which way you look at it!

AFC Wimbledon have bigger crowds than us - are they better? Think you'll find the answer is no.

Does crowd size make a difference? Think you'll find 4th place in Conference answers that for you.
