CM is a play who has a troubled past at a higher level. Attitude and committment wise.

Have you actually watched him for us in the last two seasons? If you had you'd know his attitude and commitment cannot be questioned.

He's a proven goalscorer at every club he's played for... McClean has really only managed it in a Grays side that scores goals for fun anyway.

PS. As I recall, weren't you one of the Wailing fans that was delighting in our 6-1 reverse at Grays last season and claiming you'd be replacing us in the Conference?

Hear hear ... any striker is only as good as the service to him , but to score the goals he has and in the manner he has , you have to be more than capable of just picking up a cheque . The guy is pure talent , and we are so lucky to have him at the Fleet . Now if we can just lure Aaron as his stand in ...

To be fair to Jgfc . He said Cm had a troubled past ' at a higher level '. So everyone is right on this.

CM has been superb for us, and no one can doubt attitude on or off pitch for all his time at Fleet.

However , there were question marks about attitude floating around the inner circles of the proffessional game when he was loaned out by Charlton to another league club.

But thats all in the past, and we are glad to have CM with us and long may it continue.

With the ITV digital fall out, the money is not around in the lower leagues anymore, so theres a lot less chance of clubs waving the cash and offering any non league player a fistful of cash to join.

Which in some way helps, as it enables us to hold onto the player if money is his only motivation, but on the other hand means that transfer fees are hardly likely ever to be received either.

Up the Fleet.
