Does anyone know what...

It's still got the floodlights but no seating at all. There's still some terracing. It's a long way off senior football, same as Woodford Town, all the buildings have gone.

I've never been able to get that close to Sungate recently to see the condition of your old ground. What's that like?

Was at Chingford Town FC in Newgate Street a few years back for a tournament held by Ridgeway Rovers FC (Beckham's Junior club).

Rainham FC's ground was developed years ago (As was Leytonstone FC's Granleigh Gdns ground). Last played there in '85.

The bloke who lives next door (supposedly) bought it. Promised us we could play there. Rebuilt the dressing rooms and social club following a mysterious fire..Looked great until it was discovered that Ron (the supposed owner) didn't care too much for things like planning permission etc etc...

After we left, a few junior cup finals were played on there but the last I was told, it had become a land fill site for his 'other' business.
