actually voting shud be in direct proportion to how much tax u pay.. if you pay 10 k a year you get 10,000 votes . if you are a poncing student you get zero.. now that is truly democratic.. its like owning shares in a company

Can you imagine a cult comprising everybody who ever posts on here? It'd be a nightmare; for a start no-one would ever bother to plant the vegetables cos they'd all be stuck in an eternal game of musical Mallet's Mallet. Zeal and EFMTFTV would be constantly fighting about who was the most youthful and who could drink the most. GHA would be stricken by outlawed jealousy because of the 'free love' between Chubhead and Zeal!! in fact it would be just like the third series of The fall and rise of Reginald Perrin.

CANV, I'd had exactly the same thought about the votes and the amount of tax paid. It seems that those who are paying for it should be the ones to say what goes on.

Technically, students would then go on to get more votes, as all doctors,politicians,teachers,lawyers,lots of buisness people have(mostly) been students at one time or another and get big pay (excluding teachers)

 

Also, seeing as the more you earn the more tax you pay, just think how many times super-rich 'stars' such as Elton John would be able to vote!

Technicalities, that's all we have here.. I propose dictatorship, it's far easier, look how well Saddam Hussein did at his last 'vote for me or death' system, surprisingly it worked.

 

I reckon I'd make a good dictator, I can smoke cigars and take aid from any country gullible enough to pass it my way, alls I need is a great big oil field and some palaces....
