I think Sacha would admit he regards himself as a left back firstly.

Equally, though, surely Ricketts is just as much a full-back first and foremost as Sasha is?

A 4-4-2 would be my preferred choice of formation, just because it makes much more sense to play specialist full-backs at full-back rather than wing-back. However, perhaps whether or not something works theoretically doesn't really matter while the team is winning games.

Also, where's Purcell in that list?

I agree Ricketts is primarily a full back, but until Anderson signed, we had no genuine right winger. Slatter and Coleman, would of course do a job, but neither have the ability to fly past a full back and whizz in a cross.
As for Purcell, he seems well down the pecking order at present, as does Roberts and Ekoku.
I would favour the present 352 until we start a poor run, then solidify with 442.

i have seen some of the players running and ekoku and purcell dont look fit they seem to be heavy if you know what i mean, roberts and anderson are way down the pecking order if you look at what midfielders currently in possession of shirt have done and others injured like debolla previously.

Although its a tough call i actually think the 5 pick themself - Keeling, Ricketts, De Bolla, Slatter, Quinn. Cant see how we can change a superb formation at the moment. This is of course VERY harsh on Opinel - but Kelling does that little bit more going forward. Keeling lit the game up when he came on this week.

I think maybe Start with a the players coming back from injury (Long, Keeling etc.) And perhaps have a few untried players on the bench (Roberts, Purcell etc.). Or maybe the other way round.

So the players that have been winning games for us like Slatts and Coleman aren't even going to get a place on the bench then?
