well that was a tough old week

don't know about the players but I feel whacked after the last 8 days...fa cup...fa cup replay...capital league and fa trophy but likewise as I said to the boys tonight...thats why they come here..to compete on a big stage infront of superb fans....albeit disappointed to a man after wednesday they all thorougly enjoyed the two games against welling as we all did...

 

and so today was a big test of character for both our manager and his team (in fact all of us really as we are all one big team) and they came through with flying colours.....totally dominated the game...should have scored 5/6... and made harrow look ordinary and to top it all off a wonderful goal from simon parker....

 

real nice people from harrow and I was most impressed with dave howell their manager...lovely chap and willing to do an interview for us inspite of his disappointment...

 

so.....its into the hat for the trophy draw on monday and the big boys from confsth are in there as well.....<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

A really good performance today and i did like the look of Collins in brief spell on the pitch.

 

After all the recent excellent performances against 'superior'opposition,i really fear for Flackwell Heath on the 31st.

First visit in a while, and really should have been game over by half-time, just thought the team lacked a cutting edge to finish off some excellent approach work. 2nd half was a strange one, because to me after Parker put us one-up and was almost immediately substituted it seemed to give a very ordinary Harrow side the initiative, not that they created much. Janney looks a class act on the right, his use of the ball is top-draw.

Thought we would get the second one to kill off the game, last think needed was a replay, but as you say Unc after a long and no doubt mentally draining week, in the hat for the next round was the key really.....

Harrow were rather dissapointing. Offered nothing up front.

 

Janney looked class everytime he got the ball. Could certainly play at a higher level.
