Don't forget the great Uduma Kalu as well who came on as a late substitute. It might even have been still 6-0 when he made an appearance so no doubt without even being there Rhodes would claim he (Kalu) contributed to the two Manor goals
To be honest I find it incredible that Lambourne and Kalu were both on the bench and that obviously had a lot to do with you going 6-0 down, I assume the great Arthur Barker didn't play as, again, it would be most unlikely for a team with him in it to concede six goals let alone in the first half.

You d otalk some twaddle, Rhodes! Kalu has had the ignominy of playing in 9-0 and 6-2 defeats to Hertford in the last three weeks. Lambourne might be a decent player if he lost some weight - all he did was foul Cooper, off the ball when the ref wasn't looking - if that's class you can keep it. Why are you not moving heaven and earth to get these "class" players to Kentish Town?

I agree with you there Horace, they got the penalty in the end, what for, will that be in your match report?

Apparently Joel was throwing his funny bone around, I was stunned because Cooper should have got the free kick when the ball was played, the referee was slow in blowing the whistle.

Horace - I don't think they will want to drop a division or get into our settled side at the moment but I will be asking the question before too long particularly as they already seem to be out of favour at Grosvenor Vale now Julian Hudson has mysteriously gone. At least next season there will be no problem with the dropping a division aspect.

and won't you have to finish in the top two? (Brimsdown, Stony Stratford Town, Ampthill Town andwatch out for Hoddesdon Town -we're going to loan our spare players to them!

Gavin! My Wife 2 Daughters and I want to come to the match, please do not make too much noise with your new airhorns because they do not like the noise in their face, do you know what I mean?
I know you are looking forward to our encounter again but can it be more friendly this time what ever the result?
I have heard so much about The Den but it is not the W.L.G. is it?
Is your mates name Harry The Dog, or hair of the dog?

...
If I had it my way I would make the WLG as intimidating a place to visit as the Old Den

Gavin, have air horns not been banned from footie matches??? I got my one taken away at Roots Hall (Southend) season before last and told to leave it in on the coach at another match in the Conference (sorry cant remember which one). Was told they were banned

....
Thats why pro football and the conference are crap, and why football at this level is good. You can do what you want, within a limit and air horns are most certainly allowed at Edgware games

HTFCew - I'm sure Ashburton Grove will meet with SSML criteria if I can swing it. The four teams Horace mentions are not a worry to us apart from perhaps Stony Stratford Town's who's ground will never meet SSML Premier approval as long as there is that SAS style route march from the dressing rooms to the pitch. As for Hoddesdon Town the only reason they will appreciate getting your spare players is to write about them in the programme which will allow Jane to pad it out even more giving her a better chance of beating us in the programme of the season stakes.

...

Please do not make too much noise?..sorry no can do, we will be out to make as much noise as is possible with two people.

As for in your face? dont come and stand right by us then.

As for being friendly, yes, put the past behind us, and lets have a beer and shake hands whatever the result

You wanna come and invade our 'end' again <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Why? because it has a nice big cover, and it could rain next week? lol

How about you lot have the far end and we have the end where we were before.

You can go wherever you like, no doubt you will be behind the goal, unless its pouring down.
