Speaking of Deaner I met him briefly on Saturday when I opened the toilet door which pushed him into the bog. I think he screeched 'Oi, watch me new shoes'.

We were appalling, but we had no chance with a half fit team and 2 subs. At least we batted, unfortunately we were comprehensively beaten by a team who look like they may be relegated fom the division below us.

I was hanging around after the game, texting what seemed like a million people the score, and waiting for the kids to have pee number 56 of the day, and there seemed to be a little meeting on the pitch between God, Roy, and Martin Deaner.

Must have been important as Martin and Roy got their shoes dirty !

The pitch surface was crap, very similar to Stag Meadow last year, not an even roll on it and an unusual hump in the far goal area.

Martini, we were robbed. We were 10-8 up in the second game, after winning handsomely against the team beneath us, and the ref says the score is 9-9, then gives some really dodgy goal against us as well.
