Some notable absentees tonight. Perhaps they are suffering from an ill wind beneath their wings :-)

 

Anyway, some of us climbed back on the horse and what a good first half this was. After Maldon had taken the lead, Dave Collins (Collinsy) scored a record hat-trick in just 11 minutes to put us back in charge. Dave Sadler (Sadlery) sneaked one in just on the half time time whistle to set the second half up nicely. As Treeboy isn't here, I'll say it for him...."don't throw this away Hornchurch!"

 

Oh and the comnbined age of the 3 officials tonight (the 3 oldest in this league) is 180! I kid you not.

 

Second half kicking off now, more later.

To be honest the last week has been hectic, shatered, Urchinette Sally is a gem and is looking after the boys and running the bar and doing a fucntion (girls can multi task) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

Don't blame you. What's the point if you can't delegate now and then.
