I'm gutted too

I know i've only been an Urchin for 18 months, but it's taken a good few beers to get over last night's dissappointment.

I thought we played really well, but you have to take your chances and like Saturday, we didn't.

Only last week i was thinking that cup runs could ruin our season. Apart from Harlow Town winning, we've had a good mid-week in the league.

The support last night was brilliant from beginning to end. Well done to everyone. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

I left the ground somewhat deflated, but the way we played has given me more confidence for the rest of the season.

It does not matter how long you have been an Urchin, once you walk through those gates it's something that sticks!

 

Get used to the dissapointment, it goes with the high standards we set ourselves... and why the hell shouldn't we?

 

There will be many more FA Cup days and other glory days too, but when we lose, we have to get on with it, it's what we are about!
