there you go, an instant attention magnet post for all non-league fans jealous of the support and fanbase we have...

 

i am absolutely gutted. i fckn hate getting knocked out of the fa cup. had i the choice, i'd rather have been knocked out in the last round to borehamwood... at least they had a midget in their support.

 

the welling home "support" was shocking... they waited until they were 3-1 up with 5 minutes remaining until they decided to pipe up. if i were a welling player or supporter, i'd be absolutely ashamed of that. your team hit back and won you a game, and you only make noise once it's in the bag???!!!

 

worst supporters i've encountered in my life. bar none.

 

even the fan who i gave my fa cup badge to with the words "wear it in the next round mate and all the best" said "you what? hahaha [****!!****] off".

welling. you are my new tilbury and tottenham rolled into one. that is not sour grapes, it is fact.

 

best of luck to the incredibly talented mmmbop fella.

 

btw - ainsley should have been brought on earlier, jordan's introduction was 82 mins too late and nobody would play for hornchurch if we had similar support to welling.

 

i fckn love this club.

It's a bummer to lose, but it happens, if you'd won v a ConS team can you imagine the gripes? It would show there is something terribly wrong with the leagues......

 

I did hear the Welling were only vocal when they were winning in the second half...but you get that with teams.... They don't have the heart you do.

Tree, Diz, Unc and all you other Urchins, as I write this I have tears in my eyes and know how you feel, but we WILL go on to bigger and better things and the fanbase will stronger and stronger.

I'm still up BB cogitating on what might have been and I feel that we must give some credit to a very good welling team...yes we were fckn good tonight but we didn't really get near to scoring from open play and all credit to them for that...they defended well and looke to the break....

 

 

great stuff and onwards to saturday.....

....but you get that tree. Very often the home sides atmosphere is based upon their level of respect for visting opposition. While to Hx this was a massive cup night and you guys genuinely beleived you could get through, to welling you were nothing more than a smallish club and a potential banana skin from a few levels beneath them. Why would they raise the roof ? Premiership clubs dont up the anty when a 1st divsion side visits, in fact its the complete opposite........you love your club, sure. Be proud of it even, ....but dont take it for granted that people are jealous or you risk humiliation for the club - been there.(I am being sincere NOT wicked)

You must be joking mate? We have seen just about everything at our club. Our love for it runs very deep and other can see that quite easily.

Time and time again we have to put up with the snipes and jibes from the jealous clubs that we have encountered.... your included!

To imply that a prem club would not want to raise the roof whan entertaining a club fronm the lower leagues it rubbish, in fact I can think of two instances where you are wrong.... on the times that Man U played host to Exeter and Burton the atmosphere was electric.... maybe it's just your club that has this issue?

if a div 1, div 2, div 3 or non league side visited upton park for a meaningless game or maybe coca cola cup i may agree.

 

but if its the FA cup i dont think so.

 

FA cup is just as important to welling at this stage as it is to west ham in the 3rd round. think about that LOS
