Fair play Jonboy. We gave it our all but wasn't quite enough on the night. I am sure we all wish you well in the next round and beyond.

We are very proud of our lads and the Eastside who were magnificent.

I intended to do the update service tonight but at about 1pm today I was overcome by a sudden urge. So I negotiated with Mrs. Sid and was granted parole to attend the game tonight.

It was very enjoyable (apart from the result). I met Max (what a nice man!) and Ian too (another very nice man).

Thanks for Jonboy for ably filling the breach.

Today was very special and I expect to be back on update duty for all future away games.
