He's at it again!

What do you mean "ex" Commercial Manager, Webbo? Have we 'parted company' with Martin Morgan. then? Has he 'decided to pursue other opportunities at a higher level of football'? Has the Manager confirmed that Martin 'doesn't feature in his long-term plans'? Do we 'wish him every success in his future career'?

And while we are about it, are you saying that the chap selling our stuff on e-bay, occasionally before it is available for sale to the general public, is Martin Morgan, the erstwhile Commercial Manager?

If so, two quick points. It's re-assuring that 'Wench' came on here telling us that the proceeds of this person's efforts are being donated to the Supporters Club, although mildly disturbing that they, the Supporters Club Committee appear to know nothing about it.

Secondly, in the light of the Commercial manager at Manchester United selling shirt sponsorship to AIG for £467,000,000,000,000,000.50p admittedly over a three year period, it's perhaps no surprise that we have parted company when the major push for income at Clarence Park appears to have been the sale of a matchday programme on e-bay at a profit of 22p each week. That's each week in which there is a home game.

Good luck to him from me. If Webbo's suggestion that Martin is "ex" has any common theme with his story that "Richard Goddard has signed and committed his future to the Saints" [two days before Richard signed and committed his future to Harrow], then keep up the good work Martin - and the Commercial sponsorship efforts.

That carved pumpkin! And the red tractor. And the accoutrements. Thieving b'stard.

That stuff may have been buried under the penalty spot at the Hatfield Road end of the ground, rather than rattling out on the trailer behind his car. He probably thought he could come back at his leisure and collect it on the basis that there was no way of cutting the grass and there was no reason to believe that we would ever play on the hallowed turf again.

And then matey discovers it with his metal detector, digs it all up and it's for sale on e-bay before you can say 'going going gone'!

Hmmnnnn.
