a lot of people have emailed me today about that little broadcast of ours...if we can get it onto dial up we could be onto a sure fired fan puller here...

Doing it for dial up is easy, Just broadcast at 16kbps but then those on broadband will get it in poor quality too.

well anything over 16kbps dial up will buffer. 16kbps is OK to broadcast in. BUT the cut down quality Sid and Ian have sorted out is 64kbps

 

. BBC Radio stream at 20kbps.

 

IF there are a few people missing out because they have bad connections then 16kbps is no big deal...

 

As can still record the stream is 128/64 or 896!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

yeah . Anyone can listen at all if you do it at 16kbps.

 

All they need is latest codecs, winamp media player or windows media player.

Well hmmmmmm, If you listen to say Dovers, ITS [****!!****]! (my opinion NOT AFC Hornchurchs)

 

When you can broadcast in CD Quality (they cant!!) then i would do it. BUT as i said if you have a few people on dial up and wish for everyone to listen then its no problem at all. '

 

Unc has already asked if you win *falls on floor laughing* can we do the 4th qual and ive said yes...

 

And if you want it done in 16kbps then thats not a problem.
