FA Cup Fourth qualifying Round

Recommended Posts

Two things : Chelmsford lost to Margate ? Given the gate fans bashing their own team on their forum , what happenend there then ? Encouraging , non ?

Secondly : Dover draw - all the whites will need to do is bash the bishops to get through ... why couldn't we have got that one ?? !! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Glad to be back on line again. My modem got fried in last Wednesday mornings thunder and lightening storm. Still I faired better than one of my neighbours, who had had part of his roof blown off, from a lightening bolt.

So, 'it ain't over till the fat man sings', again. What is it about us and Uncle Jeff. Dare I predict Huddersfield Town or Notts County in the next round.

Plus this squad might be quite good at cup ties. Last year's cup-tie wobblers went to Margate and lost to Potters Bar!!

Seems they are wobbling again tonight. 2-0 up at Billericay now 3- 2 down.

Are they modelling themselves on Gillingham?

According to a Maidstone Fan (Buster on the Chelmsford Forum) he thinks there will be less Fleet Fans at Chelmsford on Saturday than they had following them for the Trophy game. Still, there again we are not as big as Maidstone United are we?

Also, it seems we will be intimidated playing in front of a hostile and noisey home support. Still, there again we are not used to that are we ?

If we put in a performance of that we are capable of, the above will not be an issue. If we don't, then we only have ourselves to blame.

Daish will have us mentally prepared for such a tie. He has surely learned from Kettering, bishops stortford, Borehamwood. All defeats in the cup against lower league teams. Added to this our fully fultime fit squad..

Lets get out there and play pur game, we will show who the best side are!

Theres two full minibuses, and the rest will make their own way- considering it's a thirty-mile journry. Hopefully a few hundred will take it upon themselves to get up there off their own backs- Is 300 an optimistic figure, or can we realistically get that?
