The Fans Forum meeting at Hertford today decided that this big event can wait until a point when we all get together as onbviously many people want to see it. Maybe half time entertainment in the Challenge Trophy final. You may forget Rhodes but we won't!!!

wats the reason Rhodes has to eat his hat?

In a nutshell, Rhodes said that he was convinced ex haringey palyer Tommy Lambourne would definitely score for Ruisli pManor in a game at Brimsdown. Everyone else on the website knowing Lambourne was cup tied said he wouldn't and Rhodes said he would eat his hat if Lambourne didn't score. As lambourne was cu ptied he didn't play therefore he didn't score. Rhodes attempted to worm his way out of it by saying that the offer was void as Lambourne didn't play. To be honest it would probably have been left at that but the stupid man then repeated the offer if Lambourne did not score for Manor v Biggleswade. This time Lamboure did play but didn't score therefore the hat has to be eaten. Rhodes nowe claims to have done so but we have no proof so we are going to arrange a public hat eating at the Challenge Trophy final in April/May.

Can i add to that! Tommy Lambourne having spoke to him today is moving out of favour at Ruislip now that The man who brought him there "julian hudson" has left, although a good player i wonder if he will get a goal this year!!

Hudosn has indeed left. Lambourne was a sub today but the defence looked more secure with his presence. To be honest I would have started him but I don't pick the team. It would be a shame if he left...and I beleive he already has a goal with a fine strike at Kingsbury

i also do believe the manager Confessed a mistake at leaving him out, but it was slightly coincidental that with Julian Leaving tommy and Uduma Kalu where left out!

Lato - having been @ haringay for a long time and knowing of Julian Hudson was there a reason - u know of - for his leaving?

I don't know the full story but I believe there were some differences of opinion over football matters - team selections etc between Julian and manager Shayne CHandler.

Rhodes do you have any involvement in computer game production at all? The new version of Football Manager (the imaginatively titled Football Manager 2007) gave a list of options for you to choice from as a manager for when your club plays a minnow in a cup tie. The top one was and I quote "I'll eat my hat if we don't win this game"

We will overlook the Brimsdown fiasco as he claims to be unaware that Tommy Lambourne was cup tied although Horace and HTFCew both picked up that fact despite having understandably limited interest in the game.

 

However as lambourne failed to score against Biggleswade and Royston and Rhodes stated his hat would be eaten for both thats now two. No doubt more will follow..watch this space.
