Such a poor result, we just dont seem consistent away from home at all. In a week, we beat Ashford, Ashford beat Slough and Slough beat us. Obviously cant comment on the performance as a i wasnt there (we always lose when im not there), sounds like there was a bit of a set to at the end between the players from the Slough forum

I thought we had two players sent off ? One with the Slough chap and then another in the melee that followed the original red cards being shown. Unfortunately I was down the other end for once and couldnt really tell what the hell was going on. Definitely a bad afternoon that spoilt a nice day out.

Your no.4 was originally shown a straight red, but the referee then rescinded that and correctly showed it to the no.6 instead. At the time it looked to me like 2 sendings-off, but the no.4 stayed on. Our player's was a second bookable offence.

Very disappointing.

The game was generally of a poor quality which was hardly surprising given the state of the pitch (a combination of long grass and some neatly ploughed furrows), but we didn't seem up for it, in the second half in particular. Caught cold straight after half time to concede from a corner, and seldom looked like getting back into it after that. Lost our discipline at the end which is poor, the game was lost and we're now going to have to be without one of our senior players for 3 games.

Worster

McSweeney Swaine Blewitt Kerrigan

Whelpdale Game Dormer Hodges

Elder Holland

Subs

Sorry but I thought we were woeful today.

At least against Ramsgate and Harrow they had to win the games, today it looked to me like we expected to win and just strolled around with no desire or intensity about our play.

Slough were poor, their keeper could hardly walk yet we hardly tested him and in the end Slough's win was pretty comfortable. It was a game that we could have won had we applied ourselves better.

We don't seem to be able to put any kind of sequence of results together at the moment and until we can mid-table is all we'll be.

The only positive that immediately springs to mind was the beers in the pub beforehand.

Grrrrr
