Are you an ex Windsor & Eton player from the 1980s? I am working with Kevin Mitchell on organising a reunion for the players from the glory days of the 1980s on the 27th of January at our home game against Marlow. We have a number of people already confirmed including: Kevin, Geoff Chappell, Chris Yates, Mark Woods, John Mitchell, Bob King and Ross McCulloch to name but a few. If you are an ex-player reading this from that period and would like to get in touch with Kevin Mitchell, please email me at wefcprogramme@hotmail.co.uk and I'll forward you his details.

To all supporters this will be a great day to relive some memories from those successful FA Cup/FA Vase/League Championship campaigns so make sure you put the date in your diary!

Thats a fantastic idea. I'll definetely be there.

Would be good to see so many old names, too many to list here. I hope it gets a decent turnout players and supporter wise.

Whats the response been to this Mr Gegg?

Persoanally i'd like to See Windsor & Eton Legend Gordon Hill recieve some sort of presentation that night. I know he was around later than the 80's era but as a local lad who gave 9 years to the club it would be great to see, and would certainly make up for a certain previous managers handling of his departure.

Just a thought. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

Apologies for not replying sooner to this thread - believe it or not this my first proper look at the board since getting back from the Ashes debacle down under.

It looks like there will be a good turnout of ex-players on the 27th and yes the invitation is open to any former players from other eras other than the 1980s.

Confirmees include: Kevin Mitchell, John Mitchell, Bob King, Ross McCulloch, Chris Yates, Geoff Chappell, Brian Caterer, Gary Edwards, Kevin Hill (after the game due to his commitments as manager at Hayes), Mark Woods, Mark Franks, Jeff Chapman, Gary Woodcraft and Ian Richards are the ones I can remember off the top of my head anyway!! I know Kevin Mitch has some further names.
