For anybody that doesn't know this report follows the story of the Chairman, Mike Connett of the company that owns Northwich Victoria. In his business history he's been a director of 13 (that number again THIRTEEN) company's that have been dissolved. He's also banned 3 fans for questioning his legitimacy in being a director at their club.

 

The company that owns the ground haven't submitted accounts to Companies house since the end of 2004. The company that runs the team and rest of the club have never submitted accounts.

 

Carlsberg don't do Football club chairman but if they did they wouldn't turn out like Mike Connett.

I suspect those fans supporting the chairman are actually his cronies, out to discredit the club's trust.

Who would YOU trust - a failed businessman with a string of bust comanies behind him, or a not for profit club trust made up of lifelong fans?

We had some new people today so if we manage to get through to the second round of the cup then we'd have fans jumping on the bandwagon and being a little more available to travel to away games.

As Unrecognised Genius pointed out on a thread about last Tuesdays match Stafford Rangers directors were obviously fans of the club first and directors second, ours are too, we are both bloody lucky that our clubs are in good hands.

That thought did cross my mind Slarti when I was listening to the report. I couldn't imagine our directors banning any of our fans from the ground.
