EDGWARE TOWN v HAREFIELD UNITED

Recommended Posts

No, not that many will stay on the pitch, specially after the events that Harefield got up to after we beat them in the Challange trophy. They were banging on the Edgware dressing room door and they punched our youth team manager.

As I said, light the blue torch paper and stand well clear.

Seems the league have been bullied by Edgware into submission

Interesting first post bellboy, you dont have anything to do with Harefield Utd do you?

"bullied"? hardly, I would not imagine that any club would be able to bully their league, let alone the FA.

Spurs 'goal' v Man u, crossed the line, the officials made a mistake, as they do every week up and down the land. This however was not just a mistake it was the letter of the law (law 14) and they got it wrong.

Edgware were fully in their rights to appeal. Hard luck on Harefield or any other side that had to lose points, but blame the ref not Edgware for making the appeal.

You don't seem to get this Gav.

Law 10 - Method of Scoring - A goal is scored when the whole of the ball passes over the goal line, between the goalposts and under the crossbar, provided that no infringement of the Laws of the Game has been committed previously by the team scoring the goal.

So the game involving Spurs and Man U was not a "mistake" it was contrary to the laws of the game in the same way that you game was.

Of course, by the time the two games are played, they could be for runners-up spot or worse!

Very true, it will be interesting to see when the fixtues secretary decides to play these games. They could play it as a last game of the season, now that would be fun <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Not if Leverstock Green had already won the league!

Do you think they could? we play them next week in the SSML Prem cup. It will be a good test, as we lost to them 2-4, but had an awful first half giving away 3 goals, and having a man sent off.

I still think its between Hertford/Harefield/ and ourselves, with maybe Leverstock or another.
