'A GANG of men gatecrashed a private party and used baseball bats and golf clubs to smash up the house where it was being held.

 

The attack happened at a house in Manor Road, London Colney, on Saturday night.

 

At about 10pm a group of about ten men gathered outside the house and a man who was holding the party went outside and had a short conversation with them.

 

The group became verbally abusive to him so he went back into the house.

 

About half an hour later the men came back armed with weapons including baseball bats and golf clubs.

 

They damaged the outside of the house before breaking in and chasing the people inside into the back garden.

 

They then smashed up the inside of the house and damaged cars parked in the front driveway before running off.'

 

Weren't the football team involved in a mass brawl recently too?
