Due to the scurrilous postings of some people on this forum, we the owners of Slough Town Football Club have decided to enforce a few rules on how people should post on here:

 

1) At no point shall Slough Town Football Club be referred to as such. Nor shall it be referred to as Slough, The Rebels (or variations there of), STFC or anything that could possibly be construed as being an interpretation of the above. Asterixing letters is also not acceptable. Deliberately mis-spelling any of the above phrases to get around the above terms is also not acceptable. Referring to Slough Town Football Club as 'the club' is only acceptable in certain situations.

 

2) At no point shall users of this forum disclose any information which was given to them 'in confidence' whether this be about new players signing, players leaving, or anything to do with the current situation of players, coaching staff or owners of 'the club'.

 

3) At no point shall anyone criticise any players, coaching staff or owners of 'the club'. These people are human beings who give up their time and effort to provide you with hours of entertainment and thusly are above criticism.

 

4) At no point shall anything off-topic be posted on this forum. This is an unofficial forum and all views therein shall be contained to 'the club' and 'the club' only.

 

Any posters who flagrantly disregard these guidelines will be taken to task in the programme, while important long term issues regarding the long-term future of the club will be kept on a strictly need-to-know basis and as our customers and fans, you don't need to know.

You cant say that Liam - Roy was about to tell the players that personally on Saturday, and now you have leaked it there will ba a major inquirey into who leaked it to you.

 

I warn you there will be more tellings off in the programme on Saturday!

 

If you want the facts from the club I would suggest that you use the clubs recommended means of communication listed under "contact us" on the clubs site and email Roy or try a letter so that your questions are not missunderstood.

As people have found out when asking for answers to questions, they are asked not to disclose what they have been told. Could we please refrain from passing on any information which may alleviate fans fears over the long-term direction of the club?
