Doesnt it make you feel good being able to support a team where the chairman invites the supporters to come and meet him and his staff to talk about the club (see website).

 

This is not as a result of any pressure to my knowledge or any requests by supporters, but an honest atempt to keep people involved!!

 

Dennis is a gentleman and a credit to all chairman.

Same thing happened at ETFC after Saturdays game, our Manager was with the chairman, even better!!!!

But then ETFC Fans own the club.

That says even more about our chairman, he does not have to do it, he does it because he thinks it is the right thing to do!!

I do not mind not owning the club on paper or legally, every time I buy my ticket, put on the yellow shirt, queue up for a programme and pull on my woolly hat, I own the club, team and every player in it!!

 

I used to think that "owning" was important, but if the regime is open fair and honest, I do not think it matters, does it???

 

Maybe other chairman should take a leaf from his book, honest open conversation accessible to all not just the inner elite who hang around the bar!!

I understand what you are saying, but for me I am glad that we do "OWN" the club because it means that the club can never be sold down the river like EFC was. Each fan who joins the Society has a £1.00 share in the club. It does not matter how much money you put in you still only get a £1.00 share.
