Keeper question....

I don't know how seriously we were taking the competition we went out of last night, but as I can't remember us having good keeper cover I was just wondering why Dale was risked just days before our biggest game of the season (so far)?

 

Do we have decent cover for the GK?

On the subject of keepers, had a long chat with Danny Gay last night, still lives miles away, still the first one there.

DG is enjoying his footie and doing some coaching, we relived the magic of Darlo and Trani and he says he still plays back the videos of those games and goals with much enjoyment.

Has a lot of respect for us and especially our fans who had a special relationship with him.

" I feel the power" was his fav track and he didn't even mention it.

Good stuff Dan and I'm sure all Urchins wish you well.

Sorry Unc, when I said good cover, I was refering to depth, not talent..... no offence was meant to be made.

no probs mate....I don't think anyone saw your post that way...well I certainly didn't...good question as well.....we tend however to forget that reese is making excellent progress both with the capital league team and darren hunt's team on a saturday..colin as a manager rarely has a sub goalie unless he has a specific reason to do so..reece madden in my opinion is more than capable of covering for dale should he have to...in the meantime the clean sheets in 'deepest darkest essex' and the performances in the capital league tell their own tale about his progress... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />
