HI EVERYONE

So with no footie this afternoon (unless you went to the Chelmsford game - was that on? - ws confused by Simons last post) and no New Year game, I have taken the opportunity to get my house up to scratch, the computer room is gonna look wicked when the new unit is up. Also been playing bit of guitar (I have to now.....).

And what have we all been doing with all this spare time?

Happy New Year to everyone, lets hope we all have a good one. On and off the pitch, at home and in everyone's personal life...

Love and peace for 2003........(there ya go, I'm back to my hippie best).

Well Chelmsford v Ilkeston was on.....

went along to watch, fair few BTFC types down there as well. Bizarrely some Ilkeston fans wanted to buy a BTFC shirt and scarf. Game itself was pretty poor I guess, Ilkeston rock bottom of DM Prem, Chelmsford just above the relegation zone. Chelmsford took the lead with a well taken goal before ilkeston equalised late on following a comedy of errors when players from both sides decided to fall over rather than kick the ball. Chelmsford got their winner in injury time following a ropey free kick that bounced accross the edge of the area with Ilkeston standing around watching allowing the Chelmsford player to smash home. Pitch looked in reasonable nick considering, some sand on the touchline in front of the clubhouse and some dodgy bounces notwithstanding.

Simon, no New Years resolutions but some plans for 2003. All personal except for getting out with my guitar.

Determined to make 2003 a good year and a happy one for those around me. Not a bad thought for 2003.

I think for this year we should all strive to make people happy around us anyway. So for 2003, lets all lay down those axes that we ground in 2002 and get on with it. Nothing worse than having bad feeling amoungst those we like, love and want to spend time with.

under age drinking is not big and its not clever.. i doubt very much if you could find 1 or 2 thousand people on these forums who have partaken in this illegal activity..

it is also one of the few criminal offences that still carrys a mandatory prison sentence..along with speeding, using your mobile whilst walking near a road, frowning at the bloke nicking your car or driving anywhere in london except on sundays between 1 and 2 am.

The Pilgrim? Worst pint in Billericay last time I was in there - admittedly that was during Euro 96! Tend to drink in the Blue Boar or Red Lion myself, although most of my pub visits tend to take place outside of Billericay - The Golden Lion in Romford, The Morris Dancer in Harold Hill and the Broker in Leigh are regular haunts of this punter.
