I am sure Dulwich were involved in an 8-7 Amateur cup game many moons ago, where some bloke scored all seven and still ended up on the losing side. Minter?

I was quite impressed by Bolehall Swifts who went to Retford Utd in the vase on Saturday and earned a draw to bring Retford back to their own place for a replay.

 

Unfortunately, having done the hard work they were smashed 0-8 in the replay at home!!

In the 04/05 season, Bowers lost a replay 7-5 to London Colney after extra time (3-3 at 90 mins), again there were no pens.

 

Who would have foreseen that considering the first game ended 0-0 at Bowers???

..and on a similar theme, I noticed the U21 play-off game in Sweden last night. Serbia had lost first leg at home 3-0 but won 5-0 away in the second.. Quality comeback..

a simple explanation would suffice...

During the Boer war, Lord Baden Powell (Scout Org Founder) held the Garrison at Mafeking from Dec 1899 to May 1900 whilst under seige from the Boers. Until British reinforcements arrived to drive off the Boers so to "Relieve" them. Hence the relief of Mafeking!!!!
