WEFC v Red Star Belgrade

In about 1980 I went to WEFC V Red Star Belgrade who were touring the UK following their European cup success.

 

Can anyone remember the date, score, goal scorers & attendance for that match. I think we lost 1-7 but not sure.

i think the score was only 1-0, but i believe the crowd was around 4,500

From what i remember the score was 2-0 with Yates almost scoring for us (no surprise there) and the ground was absolutely heaving. I would guess that 4,500 was the offical gate but reckon probably a few more in the ground than that.
