saw a benefit match played between gidea park old boys and fern old boys with over 500 people attending. The score was 3-1 to gidea park old boys and if any one asks glen golby about his penalty attempt please do so in hushed tones and in private...the ball is still sailing around the vicinity of the windmill... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

an emotional and successful day for the family of rocky dawson who was so tragically killed last spring and an auction followed with some excellent prices being raised from some very generous people...they know who they are and many thanks from the dawson family ...the rendition of 'bubbles' halfway thru that auction brought a lump to me throat...

 

nice to see some old hx players faces as well....especially john elms and nicky cowley and his family...(hope that orient shirt fits you john its the most expensive one ever.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)...and must admit some good footie was played...least said about work rate the better and the water bottles were topped up with vodka I am reliably informed....... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
