The Great Clement Temile

Recommended Posts

No not at all, at least you readily admit there is a lot of promise which is more than the likes of Potters Bar Town and Lato do.

I haven't seen any posts where they dismiss any promise shown by the team, they just dismiss the over the top comments made by yourself!

Well I disagree, you only have to look at the league table to see that my comments aren't over the top by any means. Take last Saturday for example, we went into the lions den at Brimsdown and nobody gave us a chance, it was just a matter of how many Brimsdown would score yet we came away with a 2-2 draw in a pulsating game and could have won it right at the death. Gordon Boateng was a broken man and had his players warming down until about 5.45 afterwards.

Potters Bar Town - I think the photo is misleading and another example of you trying to knock us down, the great man is in the technical area and that's Frank next to him by the way. They're already getting a double act reputation of Keegan/Cox, Souness/Boersma, Redknapp/Smith and Taylor/Harrison proportions.

Maldini - Well that's a little uncalled for, what other SSML Club has a former International player who has played at the very highest level of the World game and who is a UEFA 'A' qualified Coach coaching them.

So you admit to taking misleading photos then?

If he is that good why is he coaching at a club in step 6 with no home to call there own
Surely he should be coaching at Real Madrid or something <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Potters Bar Town - The photo in question wasn't actually taken by me but normally, as I think you are aware, I merely snap away nineteen to the dozen and try to get a few decent shots for the next programme. I think your observation about Clement not being in the technical area is a bit childish and uncalled for, 99.99% of Coaches very rarely stand in the technical area for the entire 90 minutes anyway.

Do they have the techinical area rule at level six? Just because they have a pitch with it marked it doesn't mean it's in use. Are there official linesman at level 6?

The SSML Division 1 is of a very high quality as I'm sure you are all aware and teams that get promoted, as will hopefully be the case with us in April, very rarely, if at all, go straight back down. Colney Heath are holding their own this season and Oxhey Jets and Biggleswade United are established Premier Division Club's having got promotion the previous season.

I suppose you're going by that Stony Stratford Town 6 Harpenden Town 5 result last week but don't judge a book by its cover, look at our game at Brimsdown and also the classic two weeks before when we went to Ampthill Town and won 2-1 with a last minute penalty. In boxing terms it was like Ali v Foreman in Zaire all over again where we soaked up pressure on the ropes knowing exactly what we were doing.
