The guy is an absolute legend, he is teated like Royalty in his native Nigeria with people going down on their knees in front of him in a we are not worthy fashion. His best friends include Cameroon flagpole dancer from Italia '90 Roger Milla:

Lato - I think that is a duff Website you are looking at, there are plenty that shout about him from the rooftops such as www.cybereagles.co.uk

I already knew what he looked like. What I would like to know is who brought him to Kentish Town? I didn't necessarily want to know this but I do now since you changed your mind as to whether it was you or Gregg who "persuaded" him to join.

Potters Bar Town - You are like a dog with a bone with this question and I am at a loss as to why, Clement didn't want to stay at Haringey following my departure as, considering his status and qualifications, he was treated apallingly there so he didn't actually take a lot of persuading. Gregg and myself drove up to Lilleshall whilst he was doing his UEFA 'A' licence with the likes of Roy Keane and Peter Beardsley and we both sold the Club to him on the spot, the rest is history. Satisfied now!

But can you give me the low down as to why he doesn't appear on the website I mentioned or the one you did..if he is as much of a legend as you say he is?

Infact this is what the cybereagles site does say about him in passing when referring to another player.

He ( SEGUN ODEGBAMI ) established himself as the greatest right winger of his generation, and subsequent players in that position have struggled to live up to that standard - Benji Nzeakor, Clement Temile, John Chiedozie, and even his own brother, ‘Wole Odegbami.

hardly the stuff of legends is it.

More Temile news this time courtesy of nigerianplayers.com where once again he is a footnote in a profile of another player - this time Stephen Keshi

In the result, 5 players -- Keshi himself, Humphrey Edobor, Sunday Eboigbe and Henry Nwosu, all of NNB, and the Shooting Stars winger Clement Temile -- were banned from football for 6 months for reporting late to one of Udemezue's camps.

However it is impressive to have a former international coaching a level 6 club though surely it is only a matter of time before he is snapped up by the Black Cats if Keano remembers him of course

But John Chiedozie was! Really good winger who joined Notts County from Orient when the Magpies got into the top flight in the early eighties. Career threatened when he was violently assaulted by that animal Terry Butcher, in a game against Ipswich Town. Played for Tottenham, too

The point is, Rhodes, that you are always complaining about myself and others having a go at you yet you constantly contradict yourself and this was a classic example. You TWICE claimed to have "single-handedly" brough Temile to Kentish Town then you suddenly produced a post giving the credit to Gregg. Now you have changed your story again and suddenly it was a joint effort from both of you.

If I see a contradiction like that, am I not entitled to ask for clarification? There are intelligent people reading these forums and you cannot contradict yourself or talk complete nonsense and expect nobody to notice.

He was just a first division star, not an African Cup of Nations legend!

Paula - Yes we have some catching up to do, in more ways than one! Where have you been hiding all weekend, I've been trying to get hold of you, again in more ways than one! What do you think of this Clement thread by the way, he's a living legend.

Reading Lato's posts on this thread, there is enough evidence to suggest that he is anything but a living legend!

Ever thought of getting a job for the News of the World? They love a bit of over-sensationalisation.
