If Charlton are looking to release him and he is also injury prone then why allow him to go on loan for 3 months? This just doesn't add up.

Perhaps after the Sappleton episode Trotty wants to make sure all is signed, sealed & delivered before announcing anything? Cant blame him there.

i believe he should have signed tuesday night. I also believe he comes with a 3 match ban.

If information is slow to hit the offical site it could be because Vicky is off recovering from an operation.

He has a 4 match ban, i think it would have made sense to actually sign him after the 4 match ban, because we are now missing him for those 4 games.

So as well as being injury prone, and not being wanted by his Club he also has disciplinary problems. Perhaps he is not such a great signing. Where is Mo Tako when you need him? (This is a rhetorical question! I actually don't want you all to answer it!)

Yes but if we are loaning him then he must be at a club otherwise who are you loaning him off.

Probably the last thing on peoples minds, but has this signing been confirmed and if so is the player banned for 4 games.?

[color:"blue"] The situation with Varney @ Charlton looks similar to the Hasim Deen situation here - in so much as they were both registered with their clubs but not playing. If a Player is registered with a club but not part of any of their playing squads can they be eligible for a reduction of any accumulated suspension? I'd have thought for that to happen they'd have to be nominated for one of their squads (and if you look on the Charlton website, he is conspicuous by his absence).
