Still want Rhodes to name a cup competition where the accepted definintion of cup-tied doesn't apply ... What we really want from him is "Fair cop,guys, hold my hands up ...had forgotten about Lambourne being cup-tied and am now digging myself into a big hole. Please can I come out?"

Guys - Well don't forget I didn't know Lambourne was cup tied having no association with Haringey anymore, for all I knew he didn't play for them against Halstead Town in the FA Vase or against Risborough Rangers in the Challenge Trophy particularly if, as was my first assumption, the move had been kept under wraps for a while and Haringey had been asked by Ruislip to leave him out.

You may not have known before Ruilsip's last game in the Vase but you were told afterwards so should have known before your ridiculous assumption that players are not cup tied for every round.

Do we know whether the great Bradley Drisdale is cup tied for Broxbourne Borough in the FA Vase as if they do a Hillingdon Borough this season he is going to miss out, did he play in Haringey's defeat to Halstead Town. No doubt AllowIT will be able to enlighten us.

Yes he did play against Halstead, as you would know if you had looked at John Bacon's informative match report on the Haringey Borough website.

Of course you didn't know he was cup-tied. Must have slipped your elephant like memory that he played against Halstead and was mentioned in the match report YOU directed everyone to read from the Halstead website.

If you had looked at the mitoo website you would have see that Lambourne actually scored against Risborough in the Challenge Trophy game, so he obviously played in that.

I was going to mention that. Actually didn't Rhodes send us all the results that mentioned that fact...he may well not have being as he is a busy man and it was midweek. Mind you being the diligient secretary that he is I am sure he would know the rules of that competition backwards. Therefore he would know the rulings..however he didn't and so must therefore eat that hat

HTFCew - I don't think you're around at the moment but if you are how about an FA Vase Second Round prediction league for tomorrow's games similar to what we had with the FA Cup first round last week, do you have a full list of the fixtures taking place tomorrow although I expect there will be quite a few waterlogged pitches if this rain keeps up.
