In truth the better team on the day won, but thats the difference between a small side like Bookham and teams who have played at this level & higher levels in the past being able to attract more experienced players.

 

If it wasn't for our keeper we could have lost by a larger margin, felt we battled OK but still seem half a yard off the pace and don't anticiapate well enough.

 

Lack the cutting edge up front even though we did cause Dorking a few problems, Dorking hit a purple patch either side of half time and scored 3 goals which was probably about right. Both teams had earlier chances and it could have gone either way up until that point, thought we did not give up and created chances to get the second goal back which would have made it interesting.

 

Bring on Boxing Day and the league game...
