Josie (the barwoman) would have been fully briefed to the point of leading Manic on and thinking he was well in there.

She was just delighted to have some customers! She took £159 instead of usual £30, I'm told (by Manic, lest you try and say that I have been in subsequent conversation with anyone at Coles Park)

This is what I said: "Very friendly and pleasant lot over there"

This is what Rhodes turned it into

'Normal hospitality', according to Manic and HTFCew you all virtually sat down to a five course meal with caviar and Bollinger champagne.

Strange how people's minds work sometimes.

Never mind, it'll be Gavin's turn after Tuesday night.

You clearly don't know them as well as you think you do, it's all very well turning up for a Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League fixture on a cold January night and getting a cup of nice hot tea thrust into your hand as soon as you cross the threshold but don't forget I have seen Aki 'Sugar' Achillea at work first hand.

John Bacon will have briefed Aki 'Sugar' Achillea to retaking of Port Stanley proportions as he checks all my posts on here on a daily basis and reports back.

What exactly does this mean Rhodes?

I've never made any claim as to how well I know them. How well do you think I know them? For the record, I think I've only seen Mr. Achillea twice at youth matches at Haringey and a few more times at first team games. I take people as I find them and I don't have a problem with him or anyone else there.

I'm just glad we've already been and had the wool pulled over our eyes again (for about the sixth time I think). They used the same dirty tricks with us too, you know, tea + biscuits at half time and sandwiches at the end all accompanied with pleasant chat. Sorry to deflate your ego but I don't remember the name Rhodes coming up in their boardroom though.

Thankfully no-one pulled up any trees while we were there as far as I'm aware.

Manorborn - No but they really went to Town on Hertford for reasons stated earlier and virtually gave them a five course meal, the bar lady was even instructed to be particularly nice to the men folk and Manic fell for her charms. You may think this is all a lot of nonsense but it's not and I know what these people are capable of.

Rhodes please change the record and just shut up, grow up and move on. You're just embassing yourself and becoming even more boring than usual.

Also insulting the intelligence of your fellow board members just because they have a different opinion to you is a dangerous thing to do. If your current behaviour is any kind of yardstick then I'm not suprised you were moved on by Haringey.

Horace - They do hospitality but not to the scale described by Manic and HTFCew, Josie (the barwoman) would have been fully briefed to the point of leading Manic on and thinking he was well in there.
I honestly think you have a serious problem Rhodes, are you telling us that your friend and nearby neighbour Josie (the barwoman) had been briefed to be friendly?
I think she will not be impressed with that comment, she came across to all of the Hertford fans as a genuine nice person.
Has it not crossed your mind that she went to cash and carry for the drinks to benefit the club aswell, her takings were £190 on the day, and she was delighted with that, I think we were treated very nice by her because that is in her nature.
Yes the Hertford fans did mention you but only because they were grateful for the information provided by you on the transport links and the local pubs near to the train station.
Our offer to her for the return match as a V.I.P. is just a little way of saying thanks for a wonderful day which we all enjoyed.

Manic - You have totally the wrong end of the stick and are putting words into my mouth, I'm suggesting no such thing as she is a nice person but my guess is that 'Sugar' told her to be even more friendly than she is normally in order to give you the time of your lives.

Rhodes, you are becoming very repetitive. How can you keep accusing people of putting words in your mouth when all we do is repeat back to you what you have already said, stuff that is there for all to read in black and white? Somebody briefing Josie to be friendly is exactly what you have said, and on more than one occasion too.

Also, you know Josie well enough. How do you think she would react if someone at the club told her to be "extra nice" to the away supporters and/or officials? And how do you think she will react if she sees your comments on this thread?

Can I ask a question here in all seriousness. Why would Aki Achillea want to be particularly nice to Hertford and their fans (no disrespect to the Hertford guys) as opposed to any other team?

And a second question..you tell us not to put words into your mouth, well aren't you do that for Aki by suggesting all the 'crimes' (and I'm sure Potters Bar could list them) that you accuse him of?

I really would like a serious answer to this question Rhodes and don't avoid the issue like you usually do when you realise what a plonker your posts make you appear despite your zealous editing of them.

I have to say that I am somewhat confused by the last two posts by Potters Bar Town and Lato, Josie is purely an employee at Haringey and does as she is told by the hierarchy, namely 'Sugar', George and John, if she is told to jump she asks them how high. As for why 'Sugar' was keen to impress the Hertford contingent who turned up at Coles Park on mass, he knows that many of their die hards all post on here and was obviously keen to paint himself in a good light following my comments about him, clearly his painstaking efforts paid huge dividends which goes to show how he operates.

Absolutely incredible. Rhodes I suggest you go and visit your club psychaitrist. There is a Nobel winning paper that could be won if he can unlock whats in your head

Lato - Put it this way, when I left Haringey

'Sugar' threatened to go to my employers to get me sacked for being a nutcase, what does that tell you about the man, it's not me who needs a psychaitrist. Furthermore to not welcome a man like Clement Temile into the fold with open arms and make him Head First Team Coach on the spot shows that he doesn't have the best interests of the Club at heart hence their sad league position.

Rhodes, what ever happened at Haringey between you and Sugar? Have I missed something in this forum somewhere.
I am sorry Rhodes but your nutcase quote may get some attention, indeed it may be the favourite for the quote of the month...
