How on earth did Haringey Borough manage to draw 0-0 at home to London Colney, sorry folks but I have to make that the result of the day again. I assume they still go to the bottom though following Biggleswade Town's surprise win at Langford.

No not at all, I have only scanned the Vase results as I've only just got back in but none really stood out and appear to have gone to form. Haringey held 'the mighty' London Colney following their 9-0 drubbing last week and with Colney pulling up trees this season even more so than Hertford Town as it has been totally unexpected.

Rhodes given the league table can you explain how Colney are to use your expression 'pulling up trees' even more than Hertford.

For what its worth I'd say Brimsdowns FA Vase result is pretty good. Especially given the rubbishing you gave them on this site earlier this week.

Please can someone explain this? I really have never ever heard this expression before.

I think he means that our recent success was not altogether unexpected, but Colney Heath's average form is a surprise to Rhodes, who thought that they would struggle. How many of the goals did you get on camera today?

Sorry, as with most of Rhodes' posts I've no idea what he's talking about. Not even sure it's sensible enough to make October's quote of the month competition!

Results in the league went our way, apart from Hertford's, however we have two games in hand over them now. Seems like HTFC are knocking the goals in, but you have to look at the opponents and say can they do it against the better sides?

Good win for Leverstock in the Vase, still dont think much of them though, even though they beat us in the league, we shall see when they come to our place in the Prem cup.

I see that Haringey are improving, we play them on Tuesday night,

Gavin - not long before you find out whether we can do it against the better sides - of which you are undoubtedly one.

Thank you for that Horace, in my programme notes at the start of the season I said that Hertford and Harefield would be main challangers, and I still have no reason to change my mind.

Leverstock have been a supprise, but I think its going to be Edgware/Harefield/Hertford that will be the main challangers.

You could be right. We have another bottom side at home on Tuesday (Biggleswade Town) whilst I see that you have to make the short trip to Haringey Borough, who ARE bottom. Has there been any news on your appeal about the Harefield game?

No, they beat a Div 1 side 3-0 on Tuesday in the Challenge Trophy and then drew 0-0 today at home to London Colney today. That being a surprise result, they should be back to normal on Tues so long as you boss them.
