Rick Sidney has been posting much longer than Local Fan, i dont think they are the same person.

You'd do best in not showing too much concern at the rantings of Localfan guys - I think the quality (or otherwise) of his postings depends entirely upon what side of the bed he gets out of in the morning (and whether he stubbed his toe or not on the way!). Many of his postings on the soapbox come across as extremely sensible and rational, but every now and then (mostly when he puts on his anti Ricay hat), he tends to go off on a tangent. Personally, I prefer his postings in the former category.

So what are your thoughts on Staines then? First "proper" oppo for a few games <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I'm not sure what to make of Ashfords results so far. Erratic I suppose. Did you go and watch your game with them NWS? What d'you rekon?

Rick didnt get to that game so cant help you on that one. I suppose they should be the type of game you should win. as for Staines its difficult to predict. We have to attack in all our matches because our defence leaks goals so i expect that we will keep up our average of being involved in roughly 4 goals per game but i would settle for a very boring 1 0 win !

<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />We were Ashfords first home Premier game , battered em first half playing some nice passing football , second half they went very direct and pulled two back but never looked like equalising , best player was their skipper 10 I think.
Should be a comfortable win for you imo.
