Lato - Who and what is the above referring to, you often confuse me. If it's referring to the Brimsdown v Kentish Town game next weekend then I very much stick by my statement that this fixture is by far the biggest of the SSML season so far in terms of what's at stake and expectation, the winners will have a big psychological advantage for the remainder of the season and although I won't be so bold as to say it will be us I feel that Brimsdown are already shaking in their boots particularly after last Saturday when they were trailing 4-0 at Brache Sparta when the big man in the sky did them a huge favour with half an hour to go. It would be helpful if someone from Brimsdown could come on here to give us their view either from the Club or a supporter as every Club from the SSML must surely know about the Forum by now.

With The Big Man in the Sky on their side, how can Brimsdown fail? Kentish Town appear to have just a former Nigerian International and an insomniac hyperbolic public relations man!

The no it isn't as referring to the fact that Brimsdown v Kentish Town isn't the biggest SSML game of the season for the simple reason its in Division One. Thats like saying the Birmingham v Cardiff game the other week was the biggest game in English professional football this season. Or that Gretna v Ayr is bigger than Celtic v Rangers in Scotland. as if

Horace - We also have a team of 'machines' who never know when they're beaten and who grind out results such as the one at Ampthill Town recently when most teams would have happily settled for an away point we still went on the attack and earned a last minute penalty through sheer guts, determination and the will to win.

Does anyone know how to put one of those countdown timers on this post, like Paula has for Father Christmas, so we know at a glance how long there is to go in hours, minutes and seconds before 3.00 on Saturday. I will probably be going for a Brimsdown win however on the prediction thread when the time comes as Saturday's episode with the postponement has really set us back light years, we would have still been two points clear at the top but are now third, two of our key players would have been eligible to play on Saturday but now they're still suspended and two other players are unavailable for selection. Brimsdown must be thinking all their Christmas's have come at once but we will give it a go.

HTFCew - Thanks for that, hopefully it has worked. Incidentally I received the directions to Brimsdown in the post from their Club Secretary and confirmation of the game, kick off time and the colours they will be playing in. Apparently Brimsdown don't do e-mail and none of their Committee have a computer according to the league handbook which makes life difficult when you have to send them programme material such as line up, history, crest and team picture.
