bottom half of ryman one north, or top half of ESL

would you rather be in the ryman one north but struggle against the bigger clubs AKA a small fish or be a successful ESL side AKA a big fish in a smaller pond???

 

some players leave step 4 teams who are struggling to join successful ESL sides. there are 3 factors i reckon, 1)money 2)they werent good enough and 3)they didnt want to play as a smaller fish and get beat more often then win.

 

what you reckon as players,fans,tea boys(hi jenko <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> or officials ( hi krooner <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />)

As one of these players that have left, other than personal choice there was no reason for it.dont like to get beat every week but who would?

Player's probably play in The ESL for the better teams because it's easier than playing for a team that is struggling at a higher level, Not very nice when your losing all the time.

I currently am enjoying playing in the ESL as I am still learning the game, and I am playing in a strong team...

 

I have played in Southern League Div 1, and it is a good standard, so I would like to return there in the future...

 

I would like to go and play in the Ryman One North very soon... hopefully with Burnham <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Was not taken to heart. I would love to play in North but at 42 need to think of winding down.

i think the ryman league looks quality. just very competitive. from listening to my mates who are playing for maldon they said its like playing a barkingside/waltham abbey every week. there are no samll games/easy run outs i.e. beaumont

agree with the constant losing theory. Last season finished 2nd bottom lost all but seven games hated everyy minutes of it. this season new bunch of lads, good atmoshere, winning makes all the difference. Long way to go yet but still nice keep it up!!
