Brache Sparta digging up their pitch

Rhodes - I recommend you stop these unfounded allegations, or you could really be in trouble. Someone from Brache, or any of the other clubs you have bad mouthed, could easily come on here and see it and report you to the league at the least.

I don't think you are known as the Man Utd of the division at all. I mean Manchester United are a big club in world football, Kentish are not a big club in Spartan football, and most importantly Man Utd have their own ground, Kentish Town only have a temporary groundshare agreement!

InformationZone2 - You keep on about our last four games without a win but there is good reason for our poor run and our status as the Man Utd of Division 1 is not doing us any favours as I pointed out would be the case at the start of the season. I also think that due to my transparency on this Forum and our own teams are becoming wise to our Brazil '70 style of play are are finding ways to combat it by hook or by crook such as Brache Sparta digging up their pitch and Cockfosters getting in our faces, Wimbledon '88 style.

1) Teams becoming wise to your style of play in my opinion is excellent analysis and forward planning by the teams management.

2) Teams getting in your faces is all part of the game, nothing wrong with that teams do it to Arsenal im a fan, i get frustrated by Arsenal rather than the other team

3) Brache Sparta digging up their pitch, as I have said recently I think this would be stupid for any club to do so to get three points over the cost of repairing their pitch. Im sure enough teams in SSML Divsion 1 has their own internal confidence in their ability to win.

4) KTFC might dig up their own pitch in the future, however they have no pitch at the moment and that will be hard to change such is the non existent support from councils in Greater London and the financial clot from property developers to attain land.

5) Nothing wrong with Wimbledon style they beat one of the greatest teams of their day in Liverpool in 1988, that in itself was a magnificent achievement

6) Only KTFC believe they are the Man Utd of Division 1 but very difficult to say that with no trophies, no ground, poor management and small squad with only one style of play.

There is one striking similarity with Man U(re) Rak, no-one outside of their respective clubs actually likes them.

HTFCew - Well coming on here is exactly what I would like them to do rather than, as I say, hide behind their computer screens, there is no reason why every SSML Club shouldn't be represented.

Got any scores Rhodes?

I had some bad predicitons this mid week but I have a feeling my 2-1 joker to Potton may have come off!

If it has comiserations to the Ruislip crew, although I predicted a defeat I actually prefer for them 2 progress.

Yes I would always want to see a SSML Club progress and do well but I still feel Ruislip Manor have behaved poorly over the Lambourne, Uduma and Great Arthur Barker affair having just dropped the trio like a brick since Julian Hudson left the Club. They had three class acts there under their very noses and could have built the team around them but didn't seem to want to know.

rhodes I spoke to our manager tonight or rather he came over to me and I'm sure he won't mind me repeating the gist of the conversation on this board. Basically he reads this board quite a lot and has observed what a prat you are. In his opinion (which after all is the only one that matters) Lambourne was no better player than other players in his position within the club. Lambourne was perfectly happy playing at Ruislip Manor as was his father with the situation however he was finding the travelling difficult and to the best of my knoweldge an understanding was reached. With regard to Kalu and Barker, our manager simply didn't rate them...end of. You have a different opinion of them obviously but that really counts for little. You are a sad misguided fool who is living in your own little dreamland and wants everyone to join him there otherwise he gets upset. Please tell me quite how Kalu is better than Chris Henry or Mickey Swaysland while Barker is the typical utility player from what little I saw of him..capable of playing anywhere but no good in any position.

Admittedly you do get a lot of stick on this board but most of it is done constructively to try and point out to you the stupid position you consistently put yourself in. No one is doubting your dedication to KTFC or your previous dedication to Haringey. However what everyone objects to is your ridiculous and unecessary hyperbole and bigging up of KTFC and Clement Temile, your vendetta of a personal nature against Aki Achillea and Haringey Borough (though strangely you claim to be a supporter) and recently your increasingly offensive remarks. I am trying to be constructive in my criticism here but find it difficult when you refuse to listen to what other people say and persist with your biased and bigotted view of things. Other people obviously feel the same so please I ask you AGAIN can you try and rein in your imagination and typing of half truths and lies as you only look stupid when they get exposed for what they are.

Agree with the assessment of Udama Kalu, very lazy and very little workrate as i have mentioned before. I dont think he could have expected to come from every second game playing at Haringey Borough to playing on the first team in the SSML of the club up midway in the table. Rak was also at Haringey but was injured quite a lot probably better for him now that he has stepped up to a very decent level of football.

Mr Rhodes I have met George Graham on a number of occasions and he is a very nice man contary to the reports

Sorry to butt in Lato, I do not really wish to comment or disagree on your above post, just a few observations.

The Sway is excellent, Chris Henry is a super player. Uduma at this time is not proven to be better then them. Agreed.

Lambournes biggest problem is his fitness. I feel if he did something about that he would be 10 times the player, however that is no good to a manager, the player is either fit or not, and he has had enough time to get fitter, so if he hasnt then Shayne can't wait forever. (That means I agree with you again?)

On Arthur Barker I must slighlty disagree. I feel again he is probably not at a fitness level where he can function enough to deserve a starting place, I don't know as haven't seen him recently.

Again if this is the case then no matter how good he is he is no use to a team, fitness is vital.

However, I know that one of the best ways to get fit is a run of games accompanied with training. Arthur Barker is a far better player then your post has given him credit for. That is not a dig at you because you can only judge what you see, and I no you have only seen very little of Arthur. Shayne has seen a little more, not a lot.

Whether Shayne or whoever feels Arthur is an average cover player is their bussiness. But having seen him play regularly for over half a season I will tell you he is a super player. At step 5 he is far more talented then 95% of players I have seen. He was a joy to watch and often the best player on the pitch (for either side) by some distance.

Rhodes does go over the top on many players, Arthur included, but in Mr Baker's case he is actually a very good player!

Thanks for reading

When I was at Haringey last season it was purely to help out Julian. I had gilmores groin, and only played in games where there were no midfielders available or one game where people were stuck in traffic. In all games I did not want to play as was severely unfit and playing through pain. However I did it to help the small squad out at times. It was the most fustrating thing ever having to play but being physically unable to perform to the level I expect of myself.

If you have been at Haringey for a few years you may have seen me make my debut at 15, and then play under Mike Antionades, Julian Hudson and Jimmy Cattle.

Otherwise maybe come to a Hendon game. However last year I didn't play 1 proper game so pleeeeeeeeease don't mention me in relation to them LoL

Fair enough I didnt actually see you play a game at Haringey so for everyone Rak was a coach at Haringey and was not a registered player.

How's Wayne O Sullivan doing down at Hendon? Very quick

Lato - I think Rak has kindly answered your lengthy post for me indicating that the Great Arthur Barker is a class act with Lambourne and Uduma following close behind, Barker is easily a Step 4 or 3, and maybe even a Step 2, player and is clearly selling himself short playing at our level. If you're still in the Hendon bar on Saturday about 7.00 I might see you as we'll be coming back to the ground after our game at New Bradwell St Peter hopefully with three points in the bag. Why not hang around and I'll introduce you to Clement, have your autograph book on you just incase and I'll have a camera if you want a photo with him.

I wouldn't say Arthur is selling himslef short. I believe he is a very good player, but to play at a higher level you also need to work hard on other aspects such as reliability and fitness. Without all 3 ingredients playing at a higher level will not happen.

So Arthur will play only as high as his desire takes him!

Arthur to me always seem like a player that could do it when he wanted and when he had the motivation to really show his skill. But fitness nowadays in any sport is key for anyone and he was for sure lacking in that department when I last saw him play. I really think people who play competitive sport should be training 4 times a week with a good diet and then rest before and after a match. That will ensure a high level of fitness is attained but with work and life, etc etc this is difficult for some people. But if the passion is there to play any person in question will find a way to ensure they have the fitness.

You do get a lot of players thinking that the 2 nights training with their respective clubs is enough, these are the players that should up the workrate
