zx81??? He still runs a Commodore Pet- although he does have a zx80 - but it is still in kit form, one day he might put it together

 

Of course I run all my bits from a high powered Commodore Vic 20. Much better than the Sinclairs

heheh.. good point..

well the ground is ok a bit shabby in places and could do with a new bar but for the 500 odd faithful fans its just fine..

the pitch is flat with a few bumps.. a generous sprinkling of sand and grass over most of it.. a recent liberal watering of approx 7 million gallons has left a layer of water totally saturating the sub soil.. (which on canvey is 4 inches thick) and lieing on the totally water tight layer of clay underneath (which on canvey is 3 miles thick)..

this water is currrently being reduced in temperature to about minus 6 degrees C forming a permafrost that should thaw out in feb.. basically it dont look good for saturday
