Rhodes, on what basis is a Premier Division side recording a comfortable home win over a lower division side considered the result of the night. Rhodes would never give Stoney Stratford result of the night, after all he doesn't have an axe to grind with them has he.
I am not taking any credit away from Stony Stratford's fine win on Tuesday however having suffered that 9-0 humiliation on Saturday Haringey deserve huge credit for coming back off the canvas to beat Mursley United 3-0.

Deserve credit, possibly. Deserve huge credit, don't think so. Still not sure why you would consider it result of the night.

And this is another of those annoying questions that doesn't go away until Rhodes has answered it. Even given what you say about "coming back off the canvas", why should it be considered result of the night when other teams beat higher division opposition?

Rhdes is a self confessed Haringey supporter so I suppose it's only fair he bigs up his team.

Still think their 3-0 Trophy win was 'result of the night' last Tuesday for exactly the same reason as their result with London Colney was 'result of the day' today. It takes great character to bounce back from a 9-0 home drubbing which I gather could well have been 14 or 15-0.
