I make Haringey Borough's 3-0 win the result of the night

Rhodes, on what basis is a Premier Division side recording a comfortable home win over a lower division side considered the result of the night? Please bear in mind when answering that Saturday's result in a completely different competition against better opposition has absolutely no relevance to anything that happens three days later.

Stony great my vote....2 last minute goals and a winner in extra time...must have been entertaining to say the least !

credit haringay...nice 3-0 win after their result on sat !
Rhodes, yes Haringey got a nice result after the heavy defeat they suffered on Saturday but come on if it had of been Kentish Town that beat Broxbourne you would have made that result of the century never mind result of the night, come on Rhodes start talking sense and give a little credit where it is due, PLEASE!
(Gavin it`s HarinGEY not GAY)

....
Did I say HarinGAY? actually HarinGEY used to be known as HarinGAY. I have watched the HarinGEY Greyhounds Ice Hockey team on several occasions, and I read that the name change from GAY to GEY

Found this re HarinGAY Greyhounds of old...

Just like non league football of old, the crowds for Hockey in England, specially London were huge. I have a book all about the Haringey greyhounds and the old arena in Haringey that is now long long gone. Amazing pics, of an amazing arena. It seems strange to think of such crowds in this day and age.

"On many occasions the doors were closed at London's big three' rinks Haringay, Wembley and Earls Court - with 10,000 or 11,000 fans inside each and many hundreds locked out. These three rinks were all staging Saturday night games together!

Despite the attraction of league soccer in London, both Streatham and Earls Court staged Saturday afternoon games during 1936/7/8. Hockey fans were among the best behaved of sports fans and I cannot recall any acts of hooliganism, vandalism or real violence, although there was the occasional scuffle or two when tempers ran high at the local derby' matches."

Rhodes would never give Stoney Stratford result of the night, after all he doesn't have an axe to grind with them has he.

SS get my vote as well by the way.

Paula - That's for me to know and you to find out love, I'm usually fantasising over you if you must know as I'm sure a large number of red blooded males on here do, Horace seems to be like a dog on heat at the moment.

Rhodes, you appear to have overlooked this question. I'm sure your answer will enlighten a few people on here as to exactly how your mind works.

PBT...previous evidence suggests that Rhodes ignores any sensible direct questions that disagree with his somewhat unique interpretation of the world

I am not taking any credit away from Stony Stratford's fine win on Tuesday however having suffered that 9-0 humiliation on Saturday Haringey deserve huge credit for coming back off the canvas to beat Mursley United 3-0.
