Just got back the first goal was a screamer about 25-30 yards bottom corner. The goals came from somewhere then Horace, the defence was very strong and were well organised, but Welwyn did have a good spell in the second half. Plenty of bodies in the way blocking the Welwyn shots on goal.

 

Lee Roberts killed the game with a cool taken goal.

Very fast pace to the game.

Dave Williamson rolled the pitch three times yesterday, and cut it twice. Expect that made adifference!

In fact I was standing next to a supporter who said the pitch looked much better, funny enough I noticed as soon as I walked in the ground when Coops & Redford were having some target practice against Virgo I stood and wathced for 10 mins.

I thought we played well.

It was good to see Kevin Ashwood back.Ths squad players that came in all played well.The Keeper Pat O'Brien was very good.

Agreed, did not think the keeper was tested enough although he did take a few good catches in the air, he brought there attacker forward to him quite alot and waited until the last second to pick up the ball, yes not bad at all, competition for Virgo I think. Sorry Mark. l.o.l.
