Life is never dull at the Runnymede Stadium! On Thursday Steve Webb tendered his resignation from the coach’s position, for personal reasons, and Jack McKinlay, the club skipper was promoted to the role of team manager. He in turn stepped down from the captaincy, the armband being worn now by Kevin Campello. McKinlay had, therefore, less than two days to get a side ready for the continued assault on the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division leadership, against a Guildford City side with three wins in their last four games.
