Ernie Howe & Alan Dowson appear to be the obvious choices, although would Westy or Jarvis want it?

Realistically I think there is only one candidate and that is Mark West. He's at the club already, on the coaching staff and we can't really afford to bring anybody else in.

OK, a serious answer. Alan Dowson is available and I admire what he did at Walton on a small budget (I think they finished 8th).

 

I don't know too much about Howe but this rumour has cropped up. I wouldn't be too surprised if Jarvis went for it too.

how abot some ex players? gary mac + freddy hyatt? there results aren't great i know but i hear there on a small budget too (is it smaller than ours)? i do agree though that someone already at the club would save us money. west? wilko?? jarvis????????????

don't think jarvo would really save you money, he would wanna bring in his own players that would cost a bit

I think that dennis greene would be the best candidate as it will give him a new challenge not having a good budget.

My top three would have to be Dennis greene as he has a good knowledge of the available players in the local area, Steve Daly as he has proved how committed he is to the club and i thin k he has the players respect and Dowson as he can work on a budget that we have and he has good knowledge of the ryman premier and the teams involved.

Mark44 - I would rather the club appointed YOU as manager rather than Dennis Greene. He did a decent job at Windsor while his former Wycombe buddies could still play to a decent level. Since then his record has been dreadful. You ask Maidenhead or Chesham fans what good he did for their clubs. If we want to stay up we do not appoint a loser like Dennis Greene
