Of course the form book goes out the window in the cup and there are always potential banana skins to be negotiated or not (Colchester v the allegedly mighty Leeds in 1971, or Walsall v the unbeateable Arsenal in 1933). So anyway here goes

Assume that is another little dig at me but Colchester caught Leeds cold at Layer Road if I recall and were lucky to hold on in the end:

Pb you predict the holders fall at Brimsdown. Despite Rhodes dismissal of Brimsdown based on the back of a fag packet notes sorry detailed dossier, I think it will be a tough game and we could exit especially with the vase at the weekend.

 

I see your reserves are in action at the Vale tomorrow, will you be taking it in as one of your seven games this week?

It was on my itinery, until the U18s popped up with the first ever competitive match at Harlow's new stadium on the same evening so I'm afraid I'll be there instead now.

I see you are almost halfway through your reserve fixtures now, having seemingly played a lot of games of late. Should be a good test of our 100% record.
