Weymouth Stewards

As some of you may have seen, I got kicked out of the game yesterday.

 

What happened is, one of the Weymouth "scum" supporters came over to the segregation fence, so a few of us went over, and two Stewards came over to me and nearly pushed me over, then one of the lads from the EFM came and stood up for me.

 

They pushed us out side, and then used totally unreasonable force agents us, saying that we assaulted them! One of the stewards was told by one his colleagues to leave it out. They held us until the police came.

 

Who thinks that it was out of order what they did to, three stewards, holding a 16, I mean come on!

What happened was totally unreasonable, I felt. Although I wasnt paying too much attention, to what happened, there was no need to use as much force as they did.

 

What was noticeable, was how the Weymouth bloke who started this, wasnt ejected.

The Weymouth stewards were a bunch of thugs last season. Wouldn't it have been better to watch the game & not give them the excuse they were looking for?

why did you go over to the weymouth fan when he came to the fence,you was obviously looking for trouble so fair game,its non league football not millwall mate,and non league could do without idiots like that!

Outside the ground Costello, who had gone over there to help out, was assulted by the stewards.

 

I spoke to Ian Rogers at half-time who told me the whole incident was seen from the main stand.

 

Five people complained to him and he in turn mentioned this to the stewards. The offenders were moved to a different part of the ground.

Costello came over to help me out, and got kicked out as well, when the stewards where trying to restrain us, one of them got a little clip in the jaw (by mistake) and the steward said "That’s it you have just assaulted me"

 

One of my mates said that one of the stewards hit me, but I done remember that, did any one else see it?

Everyone saw it, unlike some of the people who have criticised you on here.

 

One of the Weymouth stewards told me that the segregation wasn't adequate and that he was going to report it. There were problems last year too.

if you look for trouble, which it seems u were, then you'll get punished.

but to be fair from what ive heard, wasnt at the game as i had a football coaching course, the stewards were abit heavy handed, same as last year

Alot of people were 'giving it' but i dont see why that 'old man' came and confronted him he walked at least 20 meters to do so! they were as bad as our supporters but more importantly lets get behind the boys tomorrow beacuse we really need to get a result otherwise we will hit rock bottom(in confidence that is <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)
