can you be any harsher on mason he made some good tackles and i think he had proably one of his better games this season. he was proably the only one who look like he could create something.

so what did he do for the other 80 minutes then are you going to say someone played bad because he bottled out of tackles in the last 10. If you listen to most of the comments behind the goal it was all posotive for mason.

Please, please read Leigh's comments again. I NEVER SAID HE HAD A BAD GAME, I just mentioned his tackling.

 

And from where i was standing I wasn't alone in my thoughts. Someone who helps me with the marks wanted score him less.

 

Look, for the umpteenth time that someone has said this on this forum..we have our own opinions, that is what this forum is for. I have mine and you have yours.

He is clearly saying he bottled it for 80 minutes. I wanted to mark him as 4 for first half 6 for second. You have to remember that 5 out of 10 is average.

Another point, I am not saying Darryl Harris is the next big thing, but surely he deserves more of a runout, with Wallace, as Ana is not playing well, and to me, doesnt read the game well at all.

ok so after watching all the footage again as im the one who does the editing of the games i put down that he bottled about three tackles and made alot of sliding tackles and winning the ball so if you really want me to give you the tapes so you can see how he actually played.

Why don't you just accept the fact that not everyone sees it the same as you. The Swedish Rebel is independent of the club and of this country. Matts has requested marks for players based on how three or four people he knows well and trusts see the game. You have your opinion, they have theirs, and you would probably get a hundred more if you asked everyone. Marks have been given like this since Swedish Rebel picked up where the late lamented Banging With Manning left off. They tend to be fairer to the players than you might think, my minus scores for some are usually over ruled. And yes over the years when the players were that much more approachable, we have discussed marks with players concerned over a pint or twelve. Back in time both Danny Bolt and Dave Lay took issue with their marks, but were fine when expained how done.

yea and i havent once said that your opinion was wrong or someone else's opinion is wrong. And if you read the post about the cobham report been on the web its says there that the rating are very harsh aswell. so its not just me who disagrees with it.

Nobody has to agree with the marks, it'sjust the the average of three or four peoples own opinions. Any type of media forum is full of opinion that is all it is - opinion, not fact. Sorry you don't agree with the marks, but tell me do you write to the editor of whatever paper you read whenever they print something that you have a different take on ? People come on here moaning that it's always the same few posting, are you really suprised when anyone else is either shot down in flames or ridiculeedfor honestly held personal OPINIONS.

i didnt say everyone else has to agree with the marks all i ask was can you be any harsher on mason as me and the majority of the fans behind the goal said he had a good game. And you have a problem with my opinions, and to be honesty i dont really care if you like my opinions or not.

Can't beleive you watched the tape and counted, seeing as you're not bothered.

Look, at the end of the day, we all have diff opinions. I could be stood next to somebody and we could have diff views on a player, as you have said, some people behind the goal thought he had a good game, I could also say that some people

behind the goal did mention him bottling tackles. We all see different things, and if we all agreed on the same things the world would be a dull place.

Lets end this. We gave Leigh a just abouve average mark(6 out of ten), and thought he could have done better, and bottled some tackles. You disagree, and think we were harsh.You thought he possibly our best player, we disagree. Whilst we think that his work rate was good, (bottling some tackles apart)we think he should be shining at this level and he isnt. Same goes for a few others we could mention, and have!

As I say, we can't agree on everything all of the time, I just hope whoever the new bloke is, and I think we need an outsider (no offence to God or Wilko) to shake things up, we need to improve as a team!
