SUPPORTERS MATCH vs YORK CITY

Right guys, we really need to get this sorted now, as there's only a couple of weeks til the match.

 

So far I have six players, I think...

 

Tom Lewis

Dave Ashley

Lee Wood

Paul Jones

Colin Toms

Barca

 

...and I'm certain that many more of EFM, plus anyone else who wants a game, will make themselves available to play on 14th October.

 

However, can someone please book a pitch somewhere in St Albans for that morning? I simply don't have the time, what with a new baby and my wife going in and out of hospitals with various post-natal complications.

 

If someone can kindly do that, then I'm certain we'll raise the numbers to get a full side plus a few subs out.

 

I know the boys at York are really keen to get this game ahead, as are we, but if we're going to have to cancel on them, I'd rather we did that sooner than later.

 

Please, if anyone can help with a pitch, or book us a pitch, can they let me know on this thread and then do it for us.

Did you or did you not play a friendly against York????I haven`t seen anything about it? If you did ...Did you have a good time????

I know from my son, that they always enjoyed the friendly game and banter afterwards against York when playing for Uncovered F.C.(The Darlington supporters )

We lost 3-4 in a very evenly-matched game.

 

We went 0-1, and then 1-2 down, but recovered to take a 3-2 lead after the break.

 

But the equalised shortly after, and then won it with a stunning long-range effort.
